What You’ll Do
As a lead Mitigation Technician, you will be a key player in our emergency response team. You will leverage your experience to manage the mitigation process from start to finish, ensuring every project meets our high standards of quality and efficiency. Your responsibilities will include:
Project Leadership: Lead on-site mitigation projects, guiding junior technicians, and overseeing all phases of the job.
Advanced Assessment: Conduct thorough inspections of properties affected by water, fire, and storm damage to determine the full scope of work and develop a strategic mitigation plan.
Technical Execution: Perform advanced water extraction, moisture mapping, structural drying, and specialized cleaning techniques with precision.
Equipment Management: Utilize and maintain mitigation equipment and technology.
Customer Communication: Act as a primary point of contact for clients, providing clear updates and empathetic support during a stressful time.
Who We're Looking For
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual with a proven track record in the restoration industry. The ideal candidate will have:
Proven Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience as a Mitigation Technician, with a strong understanding of industry best practices.
Certifications: IICRC certifications (e.g., WRT, ASD) are highly preferred.
Leadership Skills: The ability to lead a team, solve problems on the fly, and mentor less experienced technicians.
Strong Work Ethic: A commitment to quality and a willingness to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction.
